Community Services and Resources

Equity Homes is proud to be a member of the Community Impact Network. Together, we collaborate with many nonprofits that serve the Normandy Schools Collaborative footprint. Watch the videos below to learn more about the ways these partnerships are building equity in the NSC footprint.

Healthy Babies: Resources for Families in the Normandy School Collaborative Footprint

Pregnant mothers and mothers with infants and toddlers living in the Normandy Schools Collaborative footprint have the opportunity to have full health-and-wrap-around services prenatally through the first year of life for their babies and parenting training and support for themselves and their children until their child is age five. These services are funded by the Community Impact Network and its coalition partners and delivered by professionals working in the footprint.

Developmental Screenings and Early Intervention in the Normandy Schools Collaborative Footprint

Every child should have easy access to the best tools to ensure that they are on track. The partners and members of Community Impact Network's 5byAge5 Coalition have worked for the past eleven years to provide these tools, to empower parents and childcare providers to ready the children of the NSC footprint for kindergarten, and to be on track for success in life. When issues are identified and corrected early, small problems are not allowed to become major issues for children and families.

Quality Childcare and Early Education Services

A successful community must have universal access to high quality childcare. It is critical to helping children develop social, emotional and communication skills that lead to success in school and in life. Community Impact Network provides funding for coaching and training for directors, CDA training for employees, supplies, screenings, social-emotional education, speech and language therapy, parent education, service referrals, and physical improvements. 5byAge5 Coalition members and partners have successfully embedded or brought their services to childcare centers. Each plays a critical role in building equity for the NSC community, children and families.

Are you ready to buy a home?

Equity Homes is not a traditional homebuilder. Through the generous support of donors, we are able to Build Equity for both individuals and their communities by providing financial support for the development and construction of affordable quality single-family homes.
